On behalf of the children, staff and Governors of Ardleigh Green Infant School I would like to welcome you to our website. Ardleigh Green is a warm and friendly three form entry school that is an integral part of the local community. Working closely with the Junior School, Governors and parents, we value and recognise the important part everyone has to play in educating our children. Our high expectations enable our children to achieve and enjoy learning in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Our children are respectful, friendly and well behaved. They are proud of their school and of their achievements. If you ask them what makes our school special they would say, “Good behaviour, fantastic classrooms, kind teachers, fun and happy playtimes, lots of books and good teachers.”
If you asked the staff they would say, “A friendly and happy ethos, a shared vision and a commitment to inclusion with excellent resourceful staff who are supportive of each other. We are a team!”
In partnership with Havering College and the Junior School we have our own Family Centre which serves many of our families who attend preschool activities and community events. The school enjoys excellent relationships with parents, Governors and the Local Authority. The school has an active and enthusiastic parents association who organise social and fund raising events.
Ardleigh Green was judged to be outstanding in our last OFSTED inspection offering high quality learning experiences for children of all abilities. We believe Ardleigh Green is an outstanding school because everyone connected to the school is totally committed to its success, not just results, but about each and every child developing into caring and thoughtful individuals.
The staff are a team of highly dedicated and professional people who are committed to the care and development of the whole child. We are proud of our achievements, but are by no means complacent and we recognise the challenge of maintaining and building on the school’s success which is built upon ‘Excellence, Enjoyment, Respect, Equality’.
