The Arts
Through Music, Art and Drama we believe that all children have the opportunity to participate, collaborate and develop their artistic abilities to the full.
Art
Our skills based Art curriculum ensures that children experience a wide range of artistic activities. We seek to provide opportunities to develop artistic skills in a variety of mediums across the curriculum, which results in our children producing high quality two and three dimensional work.

Drama
Drama is developed across the curriculum with our children being encouraged to express their feelings and emotions through role play and planned speaking and listening activities. As a school we stage drama and musical productions at Christmas and at the end of the summer term which are enjoyed by parents and children alike. Most topics include opportunities for drama activities such as performances from visiting thatre groups, improvisied peer to peer activities and planned themed day throughout the year.

Music
We consider ourselves to be a singing school! All children learn and perform a variety of songs and are taught music by a subject specialist. Our school choir currently has over 80+ members and have recently performed at the London Palladium and Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. Our school orchestra is open to the 60+ children who receive instrumental tuition. We consider music to be a core subject in our school and therfore every class has aweekly music lesson from our musician in residence Mr Andrew Linham.

We are very proud of our school song which was written by Year 6 as part of the music curriculum. You can listen to the song yourself by visiting our home page. We hope you enjoy it!
Our website also has recordings of our school prayer, our music teacher Mr Linham performing with his jazz quartet and lots of songs written especially for our school.
